Google is a very powerful tool that we utilize in our daily lives but sometimes we don’t always find the answers we’re looking for, this happens because we aren’t tailoring our search terms to get more relevant results.
In this article, I will discuss the tips you can use to get better results from a Google search.
How to Get Better Results from Google
You can use the OR operator to find the result of one of your search terms. Results related to either of the terms will be returned.
Use the AND operator to find results of two search terms, only results related to both terms will be returned.
You can use quotes(" ") to find exact search results. Using quotes helps you find the exact match/best-related results to your search criteria.
Perform a search inside a single website by using the site: keyword.
You can also use filetype: to find a specific type of file.
Use the before: operator to find results for a search term before a particular date.
Use the after: operator to find results for a search term after a particular date.
You can use wildcards("*") to serve as a placeholder in your search term. The asterisk will be replaced by any word or phrase.
